Sarkeet features Asif Ali, Orhan Hydar, Deepak Parambol, and Divya Prabha in pivotal roles. Directed by Thamar, best known for 1001 Nunakal (2022), the film follows an immigrant in Dubai searching for work, who meets a boy with ADHD. The story explores the bond they form in the absence of the child’s parents, who are struggling to meet his needs. Sarkeet was among Asif’s many releases this year that underperformed at the box office, despite receiving praise for its sensitive portrayal of parenting challenges and ADHD. The film will premiere on Manorama Max on September 26.

Hridayapoorvam, which marked the renunion of the legendary duo Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad, tells the story of a recovering heart patient who forms a bond with his donor’s family, gradually filling the void left by their loss. True to Anthikad’s signature style, the film unfolds as a heartfelt, emotional journey of a man transformed by the presence of two women. Also starring Malavika Mohanan, Sangeeth Prathap, and Sangeetha Nair, Hridayapoorvam will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on September 26.
