Spider-Man stars Tom Holland and Zendaya arrive in Mumbai. See photos

Tom Holland and Zendaya were recently spotted at the Kalina airport in Mumbai. Earlier, the Spider-Man actor had expressed his wish of exploring the country.

Hollywood actors Tom Holland and Zendaya are in India. The Spider-Man: No Way Home stars were spotted at the Kalina airport in Mumbai on Friday. The photos had them leaving the airport in cars. Holland was seen in a t-shirt, a denim jacket and pants which he paired with a cap. Zendaya also kept it casual and was seen wearing a black outfit.

Holland had expressed his love for India during the promotion of his film Uncharted last year in February. He had told IANS in an interview, “I am a big fan of India but as I said I never got a chance to go there. I would love to come to India someday to meet my Indian fans or maybe someday shoot a film there too. I would love to see every part of it including the Taj Mahal in India. Everything there is very beautiful. I am very keen to travel all over India.”

While the reasons fpr their visit are not clear, reports suggested that they may attend the launch of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). A multi-disciplinary cultural space, the first-of-its-kind centre will open today evening as it showcases the best of music, theatre, fine arts and crafts.

Interestingly, Holland and Zendaya recently visited an Indian restaurant in London. They went on a date at Jamavar, London. Their photo from the restaurant was shared by the executive chef. Sharing a picture with the stars, he wrote, “Was a pleasure having @zendaya & @tomholland2013 dine with us @jamavarlondon this afternoon.”

Popularly addressed as ‘Tomdaya’ by their fans, the two stars first met in 2016 during the shoot of their film Spider-Man: Homecoming. Back then, Tom had told People magazine that they were the “best of friends”, and that Zendaya is “so great and amazing”. However, eventually, they opened up about their feelings for each other.

In October 2021, Zendaya opened up about her feelings towards Tom, and in an interview with InStyle, she said, “He’s a fun time. Very charismatic, can make anybody feel comfortable and have a good laugh and a good chat. A good chat – I sound so British.”
