Actress Mandy Moor has reportedly filed for spousal support from her estranged husband Ryan Adams.
The “A Walk To Remember” star has submitted documents to court to ask Adams to pay her a hefty sum so she can care for their eight pets, reported People magazine.
Court documents filed by Moore’s legal team quote her as saying, “I feel as if I have no alternative. Although I love our pets, it is overwhelming for me to take care of eight of them all of the time.
“[I had to] cancel a prior work engagement because my housekeeper was ill and unable to stay with our pets while I travelled for work … Without Ryan’s help caring for the house and our pets, I have not been able to work as much as I would like.”
The 31-year-old star reportedly earns only a quarter of the musician’s annual income and she states, during their six year marriage, he made contributions to their mortgage, taxes and insurance.
