The war between talk show hosts and US president Donald Trump seems to be a gift that just keeps on giving. While people from the industry were still trying to understand the meaning behind ABC’s decision to take Jimmy Kimmel Live off air, Trump was visiting the UK and taking in the sights. However, this trip did not come without its surprise, and Jimmy Fallon was quick to point them out during an episode of his show.

Carrying on the tradition of talking about their beloved president during the opening monologue, Jimmy talked about Trump’s visit to the UK to meet with King Charles III and how he was welcomed to the country by its citizens. “President Trump kicked off a state visit to the UK by travelling to Windsor Castle to meet with King Charles. Today he met with King Charles, and tomorrow he will meet with Harry Potter to make the Epstein files disappear. Speaking of, several protestors were arrested for projecting an image of Trump and Jeffrey Epstein on the outside wall of the castle. Prince Andrew must have looked at that and said, “OMG, I took that.”

He continued his breakdown of Trump’s visit and said, “They even took a carriage ride together, and their photos look like they are from Bridgerton: The Golden Years. The royal family even treated him to a lavish state dinner, with 160 guests. Which means the King knew how to get him out of their country, by giving him English food. Furthermore, a Spirit Airlines plane got too close to Air Force One, and someone from the ATC told them to ‘get off their iPad and pay attention.'”

The Late Show host Stephen Colbert also talked about images from the aforementioned carriage ride and said that the two world leaders looked like “two turkey meatballs that you forgot overnight in a microwave.” During his opening monologue, Colbert took some of his own shots at Trump’s visit across the pond and topped it off with an impression of the president himself.

With The Late Show cancelled for next season and Jimmy Kimmel Live already off the air, Trump’s relations with talk-show hosts aren’t likely to improve anytime soon.
