Here is how Ayushmann Khurrana transformed into his Bala character.

The makers of upcoming comedy film, Bala, have released a video showcasing the transformation of Ayushmann Khurrana into his character. The actor plays the role of a man suffering from premature baldness.

The 51 second video is interspersed with makeup artists making a cast of Ayushmann’s head to make an adequately sized wig. We also see the glimpses of how different looks of Bala were created. The character starts from a mop and begins to lose his hair. The process of making the gradually thinning mane look accurate becomes trickier and trickier.

The Amar Kaushik directorial also features Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam, Javed Jaffrey and Saurabh Shukla.

Ayushmann, meanwhile, appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote Bala and went on to joke that he has done so many films in Uttar Pradesh that he believes he is capable of contesting in elections in the state, evoking laughter.

Bala is scheduled to be released on November 7.
