On Friday, the iconic Royal Opera House in Mumbai witnessed a mesmerising spectacle as Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit took to the stage to perform their electrifying dance number, “Ami Je Tomar 3.0,” from their upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The live audience was left spellbound, but the moment that won their hearts was when Vidya gracefully recovered after an accidental fall on stage. In a breathtaking display of poise and professionalism, Vidya swiftly regained her footing and continued dancing with effortless elegance, leaving the crowd in awe of her dedication and skill.
As Vidya smoothly recovered and continued to dance, the crowd gave her a resounding ovation, acknowledging her unwavering commitment to the performance. The video clip of Vidya and Madhuri’s dynamic dance-off quickly went viral on social media, garnering widespread admiration for Vidya’s professionalism and resilience, with fans also applauding Madhuri’s supportive gesture.

After her impressive recovery from the on-stage fall, Vidya expressed her admiration for Madhuri, revealing a long-held aspiration to dance alongside her idol. Vidya confessed that her desire to share the stage with Madhuri stemmed from watching her mesmerising performance in the iconic dance number “Ek Do Teen” from Tezaab. On this, she told news agency ANI, “Today one of my dreams came true. When I saw ‘Ek Do Teen’, I wished to dance like her and today, I performed with her, of course I fell, but the way she handled me, she is Madhuri Dixit.”
“Ami Je Tomar 3.0” is sung by Shreya Ghoshal, with lyrics penned by Sameer. The new version of the song is reprised by Amaal Mallik. Acclaimed choreographer Chinni Prakash has expertly crafted a mesmerizing blend of these classical dance forms, showcasing both stars at their best.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee, stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri, and is set to release on Diwali, November 1.
