Internet sensation and Bigg Boss OTT fame Uorfi Javed recently made headlines after Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranbir Kapoor shared their opinion about Uorfi’s sartorial choices. While Ranbir called Uorfi’s fashion ‘bad taste’, Kareena hailed the social media sensation calling her ‘gutsy’. Uorfi recently addressed the comments passed by the actors and said that only Kareena’s comments matter to her.
In a conversation with Karishma Mehta, Uorfi had said, “I was blown away, I thought she was joking. After looking at the video, I realized that I have achieved something in life.” Uorft added that she was upset after coming across Ranbir’s comments and said, “Bhaad mein jaaye Ranbir, Kareena ne meri tareef kiya hain, ab toh kya hain, Ranbir ki kya aukat hain (To hell with Ranbir. Kareena has praised me. I don’t need anyone’s validation on anything).”
Now, Uorfi Javed has reacted to her own statement about Ranbir Kapoor and said, “I never said this. I was only joking ki Ranbir bhaad mein jaaye, Kareena ne tareef kar di ab. I was being sarcastic. Whatever Ranbir said was his point of view. I didn’t find anything malicious in his statement. Sach me bhaade me jaane ko nahi bola maine.”
For the unversed, Kareena Kapoor, in an interview with Times Now, had said, “The fact that she does exactly as she wants, that’s what fashion is all about – when you are comfortable in your own skin and do exactly as you please. I just love the confidence.”
