Actress and author Twinkle Khanna is quite loved for her sharp sense of humor and wit. In her recent column, actor-turned- author Twinkle Khanna again gave the readers a taste of her unabashed avatar as she wrote about what love between animals and their relationships taught her about human beings and marriage. She even narrated a fun conversation between her and husband Akshay Kumar where she threatened to haunt her if he remarries in case she dies.
Twinkle wrote how she learned a few things about love from relationships between different animals. She wrote that during a recent jungle vcation with Akshay Kumar, she came across a herd of elephants where the male was walking far ahead of the females who accompanied their calves. Recalling how Akshay sympathized with the male elephant being ‘all alone’, Twinkle focused on how the male wandering off as he pleased while the females were responsible for the calves. Calling their two different interpretations, ‘marriage in a nutshell’, Twinkle recalled another discussion with Akshay Kumar later in her Times of India column.
Sharing that upon learning about the devotion Tik-tik birds share where if one dies, the other sometimes kills themselves by eating poisonous grass, she jokingly told Akshay if she dies first he should also do the same. She wrote that if she sees his second wife walking around with her handbags, she promised to haunt them both. In response, while the Khel Khel Mein actor shook his head, he also went on to add, “I want to eat that poisonous grass right now, at least then I won’t have to listen to all this nonsense.”
As she ended her column, Twinkle went on the share how they continued through the evening sharing the same amount of cooperation, affection, and mutual tolerance for one another.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Khel Khel Mein next. The film releases on 15th August. Before this multi-starrer comedy-drama, Akshay was seen in Sarfira which didn’t do very well commercially adding to his latest streak of flops.
