On the 39th birthday of KGF star Yash, the makers of his upcoming film, Toxic – A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, released the first teaser, giving a glimpse of the star in a ‘toxic’ avatar. The teaser shows the actor walking inside a club in style. In the end, he is seen seducing a girl as he pours a bottle of champagne on them.
The teaser had no dialogues, just background music by London-based musician Jeremy Stack. Yash continues to carry his KGF beard in the film with a shorter haircut. He walked in style wearing a semi-formal attire paired with a fedora cap and cigar. The film will mark his third release in a period of nearly seven years. His first KGF film released in 2018 followed by a sequel in 2022.
The makers are yet to reveal the film’s release date. Previously, it was scheduled to hit the screen on April 10. However, the film is likely to be delayed. There have also been no updates about other star cast in the film. It is speculated that actress Kiara Advani and Nayanthara are likely to play the female leads in the film. The only actor’s name that has been officially announced by the makers is Akshay Oberoi.
Toxic is said to be set against the backdrop of the drug mafia. Apart from Toxic, Yash will be seen playing the role of Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan. Yash is also the co-producer of the mythological drama starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, among others.
