The latest episode of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show was all about laughter and anecdotes that made the audience crack up, thanks to the Kaushal brothers, Vicky and Sunny, who appeared as comedian-actor Kapil Sharma‘s guests. They regaled the audience with their ‘bromance’ and funny stories from their childhood.
Sunny got things rolling by recounting a hilarious story of accidentally falling into a gutter while he was out buying bread with their dad. Despite it not being a pleasant experience, Sunny turned it into a side-splitting tale that had everyone laughing.
Vicky, meanwhile, wasn’t ready to be outdone. He shared his own childhood story about getting in trouble with their parents. “We have both been beaten up by our parents,” Vicky admitted. “Mom used to punish us all the time, and still does sometimes! Dad saved his punishments for special occasions, 3 or 4 big ones a year. Those were the beatings you never forgot.” Vicky’s unique storytelling made the anecdote even funnier, and the audience roared with laughter. For the unversed, their father, Shyam Kaushal, is a well-known action director in Bollywood.
The episode wasn’t just funny, it was heartwarming too. The brothers’ playful teasing and clear bond showcased their genuine connection and infectious energy. Their willingness to laugh at themselves and share funny memories endeared them to the viewers.
When Kapil asked about Sunny’s hidden talents, Vicky surprised everyone by praising his brother’s many skills. According to the Uri: The Surgical Strike actor, his younger sibling, is a great cook and even writes songs and poems, making him a real all-rounder. Sunny then returned the favour by revealing that Vicky, despite having no training, can sing pretty well.
