Actor Sunny Deol has often spoken about his growing-up years and how his family, despite being foody, has always been quite simple about their food choices. Rajveer also revealed how adventurous his father is and how he loves to travel and explore unexplored territories.

Sunny shared that he spent a considerable amount of time in Punjab during his younger days. “I have lived there (in Punjab) for many years. Till 1980, I used to spend at least 3-4 months every year. We used to live in a village. I also learnt a lot of things. I learnt to swim there. I used to go to the bridge and jump into the pond and would reach the shore by floating. I remember going to the fields with my uncles early in the morning on a bullock cart. It was all very beautiful,” the actor said while speaking to Curly Tales.

Rajveer added that not only this, but his father is quite adventurous and doesn’t use GPS so that he can explore unexplored places. The Dono actor shared, “He just goes anywhere and he doesn’t need GPS. He just explored every place himself. He gets to see places which you can’t find.” Sunny agreed, “I am the most adventurous.”

Speaking of their daily habits, Sunny Deol revealed that like many Punjabi households, his day also starts with ‘paranthas’. He added how he mostly eats home-cooked food, “We have been eating home-cooked food since always. We basically had one vegetable, one dal and curd. We didn’t have anything beyond this, and we used to be happy with that.”

Asked who is most like to wake up early in the morning, Rajveer was quick to point towards his father. He also said, “I wake up at 8 am and it is late. 8 am is late in my household.”
