Shraddha Kapoor might be selective about the movies she appears in but the actor has a host of brands that she endorses. One of her recent ads for an e-commerce platform had her father Shakti Kapoor participating in a fun chat with the brand on Instagram. Shakti is a veteran actor known for his comic and villainous roles in Hindi cinema through the 1980s and 1990s. He was recently seen in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal.

When the brand posted the ad featuring Shraddha, Shakti asked in the comments section, “@ajiolife Admin beta, har baar aapke sale mein sirf Shraddha hi kyon aati hai? (Admin, why does only Shraddha appear in your sale?)” To this, the brand responded, “@shaktikapoor Sir kyunki Shraddha apne saath karodon Indians ko laati hai 🙏🏻 @shraddhakapoor (Because sir, Shraddha brings crores of Indians with her.)”

Shakti Kapoor had the last laugh here as he responded, “@ajiolife Bhulna mat Shraddha ko duniya mein kaun laaya hai (Don’t forget who brought her into this world.)

Shraddha Kapoor returned to the movies earlier this year after a three-year gap. The actor was seen in Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar alongside Ranbir Kapoor. The film was seen as a success at the box office. She is now looking forward to Stree 2, the sequel to her hit 2018 film which was directed by Amar-Kaushik.

The filming of Stree 2 started in July and the film is scheduled to release in theatres in August 2024.
