Shahid Kapoor danced with Mira Rajput at their sangeet

Dressed in a red kurta and black churidaar teamed with a darker Nehru jacket, Shahid Kapoor was a true star at the ceremony. And the only person who gave him a run for his money was his fiancee Mira Rajput, clad in a yellow lehenga with broad golden border.

We wonder what song they might have danced to. But from the looks of it, one can guess the song to be ‘sari ke fall sa’ from Shahid’s movie ‘R.. Rajkumar.’

Earlier, a surprised yet jubilant Shahid Kapoor was spotted on his way to the sangeet venue.

His step siblings Ruhaan and Sanah Kapur  followed him in another car.

We stumbled across some more pictures from the various ceremonies on social networking sites, where we could see the beautiful Mira smiling and preparing for her marriage. These pictures was taken during the haldi ceremony. Mira wore floral jewellery for her haldi ceremony.

Shahid Kapoor’s parents – father Pankaj Kapur and stepmother Supriya Pathak – looked elated at the sangeet ceremony.

Shahid Kapoor is tying the knot with Delhi-based Mira Rajput today at a Chhatarpur farm which will be followed by an after-party at The Oberoi, Gurgaon.

The couple will be hosting a grand reception party for Shahid’s industry friends on July 12 in Mumbai.
