Shahid Kapoor looks fierce as a cop in his next Deva, film to release on Dussehra 2024

Shahid Kapoor has created quite a buzz by sharing his first look from his upcoming film, Deva. The actor took to Instagram on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra to unveil his fierce look as a cop in Deva and revealed that the movie is set to hit the theatres on Dussehra next year, which falls on October 11, 2024.

In this initial glimpse from Deva, Shahid Kapoor exudes an intense persona, dressed in a sharp white shirt paired with khaki pants and adorned with sleek black sunglasses. He’s seen gripping a gun in a pose that underlines the film’s action-packed theme. He wrote, “DEVA in theatres on Dussehra 11th October 2024. @hegdepooja @rosshanandrrews @shariq_patel #SiddharthRoyKapur @zeestudiosofficial @RoyKapurFilms @zeemusiccompany @Zeecinema.”

The film, helmed by Rosshan Andrrews, known for his work on Malayalam blockbusters like Salute and Kayamkulam Kochunni, promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience. Pooja Hegde also plays a lead role in the film. Deva is being produced by the renowned Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films.

Director Rosshan Andrrews shared his excitement about the project in a statement, stating, “I am honored to be directing DEVA, and I am eager to bring this thrilling story to the screen. According to the film’s makers, Deva delves into the world of a rebellious police officer as he embarks on a high-profile case. With each step deeper into the investigation, he begins to unravel a complex web of deceit and betrayal, leading him down an exhilarating and perilous path.
