Shahid Kapoor, who is still celebrating the success of his Amazon Prime Video series Farzi, recently took to his social media handles and shared his first look from his upcoming film Bloody Daddy. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie is the official adaptation of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche.
The first look has Shahid looking quite beaten up with a scar on his nose. The caption on the poster reads ‘Shahid Kapoor is Bloody Daddy’.
Fans of Shahid Kapoor were pleasantly surprised by his look in Bloody Daddy and took to the comments section of Shahid’s post to praise the actor. One of his fans wrote, “Bloody sweet” and another fan wrote, “Finally my wait is over, Shahid’s action film.” “So excited for this after seeing Farzi,” wrote another fan.
On the film front, Shahid was last seen in the 2022 film Jersey. The movie failed at the box office, which broke Shahid’s heart. He told indianexpress.com, “It just broke my heart. It was a really beautiful film and I feel the universe was not kind to us. The songs were out, the film was pushed for four months. The universe was not kind. With Jersey, I realised that films are like fast food, one has to consume it at that moment. If you wait, uska mazaa chala jaata hai. We haven’t ever faced such a scenario, a pandemic, so we didn’t know how to go about it. And unfortunately, the film had to suffer.”
Prime Video recently announced that Farzi, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi, was the most watched Indian web series of all time. Directed by Raj and DK, the show marked Shahid’s debut in the web space.
