Sara Ali Khan, who is often seen exploring Indian states, especially Uttarakhand, recently recalled her memories of holidays with her parents Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. Sara revealed that when her parents were still married, they often went to London for holidays. The actress also recalled some old memories of celebrating several festivals at the Pataudi Palace.
Speaking to NDTV, Sara Ali Khan shared, “My brother and mother, they love London and so does my father. When my parents were married, our summer holidays was always forty five days in London.” She also shared that as a kid, she used to spend a lot of time at her family home in Pataudi palace. She said, “I have a lot of childhood memories in Pataudi. I haven’t been there as much since I have grown up, but Christmas, New Year and Diwali used to be there.”
Talking about travelling in India, Sara shared that she started exploring the country on her own in 2016. She said, “It is after I graduated from Columbia, I started exploring my own country on my own. Despite me loving my family, travelling for me is very self-discovered and personal experience.”
Sara Ali Khan likes to travel alone and collect bangles from every place she visits across the world. However, she has a soft corner for Uttarakhand, where she shot her first film Kedarnath.
