Sanjay Mishra, who once quit films to wash cups for Rs 150 a day, buys Rs 4.95 cr house in Madh Island; Kartik Aaryan is his  neighbour

Actor Sanjay Mishra joins the list of celebrities who own a property in Madh Island. After Archana Puran Singh and Pankaj Tripathi, the veteran actor invested in a premium property. Sanajy bought a sea-facing apartment worth Rs 4.75 crore. According to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey, the deal was registered on July 11, 2025.

Sanjay’s new property is located on the 15th floor of Raheja Exotica Cyprus. It offers a carpet area of 1,702 sq ft along with an additional 201 sq ft deck, making the house’s total area of over 1900 sq ft.

According to Zapkey, Sanjay Mishra paid a stamp duty of Rs 28.50 lakh and registration charges of Rs 30,000 for the transaction.

According to Free Press Journal, playback singer Jubin Nautiyal too owns a property in the same building. The singer owns a four bedroom apartment on the 34th floor of the tower. He bought the property in December 2024 for Rs 4.94 crore.

Apart from these personalities, actors Kartik Aaryan, Ronit Roy, Ayushmann Khurrana, and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri too own properties in the locality.

Sanjay Mishra has been active in films since 1995. The 61 year actor has worked in over 200 projects and was recently seen in the films Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Bhool Chuk Maaf, Son of Sardaar 2 and Heer Express. He also takes part is several theatre plays.

The actor has gone through many hardships in his life and career. The actor had once told Screen about the time he had quit film industry and started working at a dhaba. “I was suffering from a severe illness. Doctors had removed 15 litres of pus from my stomach and just after it got cured, I lost my father. I had started losing my life. So, I went to Rishikesh and started making omelettes at a dhaba near the bank of Ganga. The dhaba owner told me I will have to wash 50 cups a day and I will get Rs 150. But then I thought I need money for my survival,” Sanjay had said. He had recalled that it was a call of filmmaker Rohit Shetty offering him All The Best that brought him nack to films.

In 2024, Sanjay Mishra reportedly built an organic farmhouse and a Shiva temple in Tiskari village in Lonavala. Sanjay Mishra also owns several luxury cars including a Fortuner and a BMW.
