Pakistani actor Mawra Hocane, known for her role in the 2016 Hindi film Sanam Teri Kasam, has announced her marriage on Instagram. The actor tied the knot with fellow actor Ameer Gilani, and the couple took to social media to share glimpses of their dreamy wedding.
Mawra shared stunning visuals from the ceremony. In the pictures, the couple is seen holding each other as they pose for the photos. While Mawra wore a light blue-green lehenga, Ameer was dressed in a classic all-black outfit. She posted the images with the caption, “And in the middle of chaos… I found you✨ BISMILLAH 5.2.25 #MawraAmeerHoGayi.”
Another set of pictures reveals moments from the nikaah ceremony, with Mawra and Ameer signing the nikkahnama. Surrounded by their family members, the couple received heartfelt well-wishes. TV actor Mouni Roy congratulated Mawra, writing, “Heartiest congratulations. Wish you both the happiest, most meaningful journey ahead ❤️ 🧿.”
Mawra and Ameer have previously worked together as co-stars on Pakistani TV shows like Sabaat and Neem. Their on-screen chemistry was widely appreciated by fans. Although rumours of them dating had been circulating for a while, fuelled by their social media posts and public appearances together, the wedding announcement has now made their relationship official. Mawra has also been part of other popular Pakistani TV shows like Aahista Aahista, Ek Tamanna Lahsil Si, and Nikhar Gaye Gulab Sare, among others.
Mawra is also known to Indian audiences for her role in Sanam Teri Kasam, where she starred opposite Harshvardhan Rane. The film received mixed reviews and was directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru.
