Inviting one’s fans and followers to the trailer launch of a movie is the latest trend these days in the bylanes of Bollywood and the latest to join the bandwagon is Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
Salman’s forthcoming movie ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’ is all set to release in the month of November and its trailer will be released on October 1. So, to make this event grand, selected fans of the actor will attend the trailer launch.
The official Twitter handle of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’ – @prdp – made this announcement today and shared the details of the contest #TrailerDekhoPremKeSaath.
Not only this, reportedly, PRDP team, including lead stars Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor, will launch the trailer at a gala ceremony for which contest entries have been invited. Twitter contests will be held in the course of the coming three days, which will be conducted by Salman’s and Sonam’s fanclubs.
A similar event was organised for Salman’s earlier release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, where a special screening of the trailer was held for selected fans. Salman, however, hadn’t attended the event.
Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had also invited a few of their fans to the trailer launch of their soon-to-release movie ‘Shaandaar’ who they had selected through Twitter contests.
