Late veteran actor Satish Kaushik, who passed away in March 2023, will be seen on screen posthumously in the Arbaaz Khan-produced film Patna Shuklla. At the film’s premiere on Thursday, Salman Khan got emotional as he remembered Satish. The two actors starred together in several films, and Salman even worked in Satish’s directorial Tere Naam in 2003, which was one of the biggest hits of that year.
When Salman arrived at the premiere, he was asked about Satish’s presence in the film and he said that the late actor was very close to his family. “Humare toh bade hi close the voh. Aur sabse amazing cheez yeh hai ki unhone apni har… jo jo project pe voh kaam kar rahe the, voh sab unhone khatam kar diye. Every project of his… Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan mein bhi the voh (We were very close. The best thing was that he finished every project of his. He was there in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan also),” he said.
Salman and Satish worked as co-actors in many films during the 1990s, such as Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge and Chal Mere Bhai. Satish also featured in Salman’s 2023 film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Salman also produced his 2021 directorial Kaagaz, which starred Pankaj Tripathi.

Satish passed away unexpectedly at the age of 66 after a heart attack. At the time, Salman remembered his friend in a tweet that read, “Always loved, cared and respected him and shall always remember him for the man that he was. May his soul rest in peace and strength to family and loved ones. .. #RIP Satish Ji.”
Patna Shuklla is among his final posthumous releases. He will also be seen in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency, where he plays Jagjivan Ram. The film is set to release on June 14.
