The Prabhas starrer on its third Sunday clocked in an estimated Rs 5.75 cr, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

Salaar recorded a good third weekend as it netted almost Rs 15 cr. The film’s total now stands at Rs 392.94 cr all-India. Though the collections are huge, Salaar has underperformed considering the historic start it got with an opening day of Rs 90 cr from all versions. The film will now aim to cross Rs 400 cr mark in India, knocking off its dream of entering the Rs 500 cr club.

With Telugu collections already down to Rs 1 cr range, it is mostly the Hindi version which will determine Salaar’s lifetime. To put in context, out of its Rs 5.45 cr third Saturday total, Salaar made Rs 1.4 cr in Telugu and Rs 3.75 cr in Hindi. The film’s Hindi version has so far netted Rs 144 cr.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar released on December 22 and faced a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, his maiden collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani. Both the films, however, opened to lukewarm audience reception. Salaar’s collections will now take a huge hit as Pongal releases–Guntur Kaaram, Captain Miller, Ayalaan, Hanuman–hit the cinemas.

In Hindi, the film will face Katrina Kaif-Vijay Sethupathi starrer Merry Christmas and two weeks later, will see the release of Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
