Saba Pataudi shares heartfelt note for Saif Ali Khan: ‘Taking care of the family and standing tall would make Abba so proud’

Saif Ali Khan was brutally attacked in the early hours of Thursday. He was rushed to the Lilavati hospital in Mumbai, where he underwent a surgery.

Actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder during a robbery attempt at his Bandra residence in the early hours of Thursday. Saif sustained six injuries, including 2 deep cuts. Following the attack, the actor was rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. The actor underwent a surgery and is now said to be out of danger.

While many celebrities from the Hindi industry expressed their concern over the attack, Saif’s sister Saba Pataudi, who is seemingly not in the city, has shared a heartfelt note for her brother. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Saba shared a picture from their childhood and wrote, “I am in shock and reeling from this insane incident. But proud of you Bhaijaan. Taking care of the family and standing tall would make Abba so proud. I am. Get well soon. missing being there. Will see you soon. Duas and prayers always.”

Actors R Madhavan, Karishma Tanna, Pooja Bhatt, Raveena Tandon, Jr NTR, Chiranjeevi, Imtiaz Ali, Parineeti Chopra, Celina Jaitly, Sonu Sood, and Mamta Kulkarni, among others expressed their concern for Saif Ali Khan.

Actor Madhavan wrote, “Horrified and numb… Wishing my dear friend and a super nice guy a speedy recovery to peak health. May the accused get his due quickly.” Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri too took to his X handle to express shock, and wrote, “OMG. Shocked. Dear Saif, praying for your speedy recovery.”

Many celebrities visited Saif Ali Khan post his surgery. Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan, and Siddharth Anand, among others, were spotted outside the hospital.

After the surgery, the actor’s team released a statement which read, “Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe and the police is investigating the incident.” They also thanked the actor’s fans for their prayers.
