Ever since Jee Le Zaraa, a film starring Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, was announced, fans have been desperately waiting for an update. Touted to be about the lives of three women, who go on a road trip, the film will be directed by Farhan Akhtar, while Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar have penned the script.

Farhan had a few weeks back shared snapshots of him doing recee for the film, hinting that it will go on floors soon. Indianexpress.com recently caught up with Reema, as she promoted her upcoming show Dahaad. When asked to share updates about Jee Le Zaraa, the writer smiled to say, “We will start shooting by end of the year. We are looking forward to it and are really excited.”

While the star-studded project tops the list of most anticipated films, the next season of her web series Made in Heaven is also highly awaited. The Amazon Prime Video show led by Sobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur showcased the many sides of relationships and marriage through the eyes of two wedding planners.

As we quizzed her on when season 2 of Made in Heaven will drop, Reema replied, “Soon soon. Very soon. Actually sooner than you’d expect.”

Coming back to Dahaad, the crime thriller deals with women going missing and a female cop (played by Sonakshi Sinha) pledging to solve the case. The show also stars Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, Sohum Shah, Manyuu Doshi, Yogi Singha, Sanghmitra Hitaishi, Ratnabali Bhattacharjee, Nirmal Chiraniyan, Vijay Kumar Dogra, Abhishek Bhalerao, and Waris Ahmed Zaidi. It has been co-directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi.

Dahaad is also the first ever Indian web series to premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival. Starting May 12, it will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
