Actor Ranveer Singh, who recently attended an event in Mumbai, expressed his excitement about becoming a father. Addressing the audience and the media, Ranveer, who recently featured in Rohit Shetty’s big-budget film Singham Again, said that he cannot express the happiness he’s feeling right now. A video from the event has now surfaced online.
In the video, Ranveer said, “That infinite happiness that I am experiencing right now, I wish I had the words to express what it’s like. But there are no words in any language that can describe this happiness. It’s like magic. I am excited for me.” At the same event, he also said, “I have been on daddy duty for a long time now.”
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone welcomed their first child in September after nearly six years of marriage. The couple shared a cute note on their respective Instagram accounts, which read: “Welcome Baby Girl!” It also mentioned the date: “8.09.2024.” On the occasion of Diwali, in a joint Instagram post, Ranveer and Deepika revealed the name of their daughter. Sharing a glimpse of their baby girl, the couple wrote in the caption: “Dua Padukone Singh. Dua: meaing a Prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with Love and Gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer.”
The couple announced their pregnancy back in February, hours before heading to Jamnagar to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash. They were recently seen in the film Singham Again, in which Deepika Padukone marked her debut in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe as Lady Singham. However, Ranveer and Deepika didn’t have any scenes together.
