Bollywood stars’ love for luxury cars is a well-established phenomenon and Animal actor Ranbir Kapoor is no exception. Much like his character Rannvijay Singh, Ranbir also shares a passion for high-end cars and has recently expanded his collection.

However, unlike Rannvijay, whose fondness for a Rolls Royce was prominently depicted in the movie, Ranbir’s preferences vary slightly, though he too has opted for a British luxury vehicle. A recently surfaced video showcases Ranbir’s latest acquisition, a dark sapphire blue Bentley Continental GT V8. According to CarDekho, the on-road price of the vehicle is approximately Rs 6 crore (with an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.2 crore). The video features Ranbir behind the wheel, taking the car for a drive on the Mumbai roads.

In one of the videos, he is seen giving some money to an elderly man begging for alms.

On his birthday last year, Financial Express had reported that Ranbir also possesses a Mercedes-AMG G 63, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Sport, Audi A8 and Audi R8.

Following his performance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s action drama Animal, which achieved blockbuster success despite facing criticism for its perceived themes of misogyny and violence glorification, rumours have emerged suggesting that Ranbir is preparing to portray Lord Ram in an upcoming screen adaptation of Ramayana, which is likely to be directed by Nitesh Tiwari, known for his work in Dangal and Chhichhore. An official announcement regarding the project is awaited.

Recently, Ranbir, along with his mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor, appeared on the first episode of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show. During the conversation, Neetu credited her late husband Rishi Kapoor for shaping their children’s personalities. “I think the values they have were instilled by Rishi. The value of time, the value of money. I believe the most important thing is respecting other people.”

Neetu Kapoor also shared an example of Rishi Kapoor’s strict upbringing, mentioning that when Ranbir and Riddhima were studying abroad, Rishi never spoiled them with excessive money. “He gave them $10 for lunch and $10 for dinner,” she reminisced.
