Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha recently tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur. The couple, who got engaged in May this year, hosted pre-wedding festivities like mehndi, sangeet and haldi before tying the knot. Raghav and Parineeti also held a reception after the wedding ceremony. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra, who designed Parineeti’s wedding wardrobe, took to his Instagram handle and dropped unseen pictures of the couple from their special night.
Parineeti, who was donning a Rosette blush crystal sequin saree, looked ethereal in the new pictures. Raghav also looked dapper in a sharp suit. In the caption, Manish revealed that they were actually thinking of a red saree for the occasion. Manish wrote, “Creating the Rosette Blush crystal sequin Saree for the gorgeous @parineetichopra was a thought that came up in our discussions at my mumbai Atelier .. All along we are talking about a Red saree for the cocktail after wedding celebrations and then came in the thought of going chic.”
The duo announced their wedding via social media and shared beautiful pictures from the ceremony. They wrote in the caption, “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other .. Our forever begins now.”
The guest list of the couple included Sania Mirza, Harbhajan Singh, Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann among others. The couple is expected to host a wedding reception in Mumbai soon.
On the work front, Parineeti was recently seen in Mission Raniganj opposite Akshay Kumar.
