Nigerian sensation Rema, whose hit song “Calm Down” made waves on the internet, wowed fans at a concert in Mumbai. Adding to the excitement, dancer-actor Nora Fatehi joined Rema on stage and left the audience in awe. The audience went wild when Nora got Rema to dance along with her to her hit song “Naach Meri Rani”. Nora flawlessly performed her signature moves and Rema did his best to follow her lead, and together they got an overwhelming response from the cheering audience.
Fans on the internet loved the energy Nora brought to the stage. One of the fans commented on the video, “What a moment to see live!!!” Another wrote, “Slayed as always.”
An excited Nora Fatehi took to her Instagram stories and shared several videos from the concert. In the clips, she could be seen having a great time, dancing and enjoying Rema’s songs alongside her friends.
In an interview with PTI, Rema had said that he is a fan of AR Rahman. The singer said, “I can’t stop listening to Indian music because the vocals are so emotional. Since I arrived in India, I’ve been listening to a lot of Indian music. AR Rahman is one of my favourite composers. We have a lot of love and respect for India and all of its creative talent back home. The way forward is to create a new sound that combines Afrobeats and Indian music.”
Rema added, “Some dancers performed Calm Down in their own Indian folk style. There is a lot of love here in India, and I am very excited to play for the audience here.”
