The latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show featured Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra promoting their film Param Sundari. During the interaction, Janhvi shared what she looks for in a guy and revealed how food plays a central role in her liking someone. Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma jokingly teased Archana Puran Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu during the show.
When asked what she likes in a guy, Janhvi said, “It all depends on the food. For me, food is very important. He should know how to cook. He should be a foodie. If he can’t handle spice, I get put off. ‘Oh this is too spicy! Oh I have a sensitive stomach!’ hain?” When asked how she stays fit and if she eats spicy food, Janhvi responded, “If you don’t have green chilli with your food then what are you even eating?”
Janhvi then shared a new recipe where she makes parathas using keto-friendly flour like almond and flaxseed flour. Kapil joked about where to find keto flour, and then turned to Archana, quipping that the actor-comedian stays fit not by eating fancy foods but simply by eating pumpkin sabzi.
He went on to compliment Archana for looking good and used the opportunity to tease her and Navjot Singh Sidhu. Kapil hinted that Archana did not dress up as much earlier, but now since Sidhu has rejoined as a permanent guest, she dresses up for every episode. He joked, “Archana ji has never styled her hair like that but ever since Sindhu ji has come back, she has…” This prompted Sidhu to throw a pillow at Kapil.
Kapil also lauded Janhvi and Sidharth for their chemistry in the songs of Param Sundari. Sharing his own experiences shooting songs for films, he revealed how awkward it can be to shoot kissing scenes with crew members watching. He said, “Shooting a song is really difficult,” adding, “The director says come closer, you have to kiss the heroine. But the expression on the man holding the light instantly changes to (makes kissing face). Moments like this, it gets really tough.” Kapil’s observation left everyone in splits.
But once again, Kapil used the moment to tease Sidhu and Archana. He said, “Shooting a song is difficult but Sidhu Paaji table ke peechhe haath dabana toh….(Sidhu paaji but sitting and holding someone’s hand beneath the table is…)” Kapil’s comment left Archana visibly shocked before she broke into laughter.
Seeing Archana laugh, Sidhu said, “Archana ji you are laughing as if it’s true. Unbelievable.” Kapil then made Archana show both her hands and pointed out the swelling in one of them. He clarified, saying, “This is just a joke. I am paid to do this.” For the unversed, Archana recently fractured her wrist during a film shoot.
