The trailer for Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh-starrer Mere Husband Ki Biwi dropped on Saturday, three years after the film was first announced in 2022. The trailer for the film was launched at an event in Mumbai attended by its star cast. Produced under the banner Pooja Entertainment, the film is directed by filmmaker Mudassar Aziz, the man behind films like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Khel Khel Mein and Happy Bhaag Jayegi.
The trailer begins with a voiceover that introduces Bhumi Pednekar and says, “Yeh hai who jo commercial films mein sirf patni hi ban payi hai (The one who plays the wife in commercial films.)”. Then the video introduces Rakul Preet Singh’s character and says, “Aur yeh, jo sexy hone ke alava kuch nahi hai (And the one who just plays the role of a sexy woman.)”. Introducing Arjun Kapoor, the voiceover says, “Aur inke beech phasa yeh launda (And the man who is stuck in the middle)”.
The film is a love triangle between the three lead characters. Ankur, played by Arjun, was married to Prablin, played by Bhumi. Prablin meets with an accident and has forgotten everything about her divorce so she is shocked to learn that they have now gotten divorced and Ankur is now in a relationship with someone else, played by Rakul.

Arjun was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again which seemed to have brought his career back on track. Rakul was last seen in Kamal Hassan’s Indian 2 which flopped at the box office. For Bhumi, this is her first theatrical release since 2023’s Thank You for Coming.
Mere Husband Ki Biwi is all set to release on February 21. Arj
