The mystery surrounding the lead actor who is to play (late) Aarushi in the Manish Gupta’s film ‘Rahasya’ was more mysterious than the real case itself.
While the role of her parents will be portrayed by Tisca Chopra and Aashish Vidyarthi,the search for Aarushi has finally ended with Sakshi Sem.
Sakshi has appeared in many ad commercials and films like ‘Darna Zaroori Hai’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raju Chacha’. Talking about how she bagged the role,she said that Manish just offered her the part and she replied positively without even looking at the script. She added that in order to prepare for the role,she has been following the case in totality.
Talking about Sakshi,Manish said that he remembers her as a brilliant nine-year-old kid when he directed her in ‘Darna Zaroori Hai’.
While in ‘Rahasya’,he has explored the issues that teenage girl’s face in a city atmosphere like sex,peer burdens and stressed relations with parents.
