While Bollywood is yet to recover from the shockwaves left by the attack on renowned star Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra residence in January this year, actor Malaika Arora has stepped forward to share a chilling experience she once faced, when a fan entered her living room uninvited with a pair of scissors. Although nothing untoward happened, Malaika said that the incident sent chills down her spine.
“I remember when main upar ghar pe ready ho rahi thi (I was getting ready upstairs). When I came down to the living room, someone was sitting there. I had no idea, no clue, nothing. They were just sitting there and had come to say… tell me that… I got a little scared, I’ll be very honest. It was actually a female, and she was sitting there. A crazy fan. She had some scissors or something in her bag as well, which was a little scary. So, I figured ki kuch toh gadbad hai (something was off). However, I just tried to be calm about it and yeah, that was the craziest fan interaction,” she shared during a chat with Bollywood Bubble.
Although Malaika did not suffer any injuries in the said incident, Saif’s ordeal was far scarier and the actor was wounded in the attack. On January 16, an unknown intruder broke into the residence of Saif and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan with the intention of robbing them. Although he wasn’t spotted at first, a staff member soon noticed the miscreant and raised an alarm.
Hearing this, Saif came out of his room, after which an altercation ensued between the two. The actor was then allegedly attacked with a hexa blade and suffered injuries to his hand, neck and back. While Khan was rushed to the hospital, the intruder managed to escape before eventually being captured on January 19. Saif, meanwhile, had to undergo two major surgeries.
