Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, who is awaiting the release of his highly anticipated film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, recently spoke about being a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan. The actor recalled that before becoming a star, he visited Mumbai’s Bandstand and stood outside Shah Rukh’s residence, Mannat, with a massive crowd, hoping to catch a glimpse of the superstar.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Kartik said, “I have been a big fan of Shah Rukh. When I came to Mumbai for the first time, I went to Bandstand and stood in front of Mannat on a Sunday to get a glimpse of Shah Rukh.” Kartik shared that, at this point in his life, he hadn’t seen any celebrities except Shah Rukh outside Mannat. “At that time, I had only seen Shah Rukh in his car because he would come out of his house on a Sunday, and that’s when I saw him for the first time,” he added.
Kartik Aaryan is known for being approachable and humble, often engaging with fans. Videos of him readily fulfilling fans’ requests for handshakes and photographs have frequently surfaced on the internet. Talking about his fans and why he sees a part of himself in them, Kartik explained, “I’ve been on the other side, where I was a fan of people, and I tried to get a glimpse of them or just get a photograph with them. So I can understand when fans have that reaction. I try to make as many people happy as possible.”
In an earlier interaction, Kartik spoke about his loyal fan base and how he had to build it over time. “I am lucky enough to have earned a loyal fanbase that I don’t want to lose ever. I love my fans immensely. And my fan base is something that nobody can snatch away from me. It is not something that I have acquired overnight. It has taken me a lot of time to reach here,” he said.
