It’s a lesser-known fact that actors John Abraham and Raveena Tandon were close friends several years ago. An old video showcasing their friendship from that time has now gone viral. In the clip from Farooq Sheikh’s talk show Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, Raveena and John revealed how they would often go on bike rides together.
In the clip, John recalled their first meeting and said, “Woh ekdam samne baithi thi (She was sitting right in front of me), and so then she looked at me and said, ‘I want to dance, come here, take me on the floor.’ That’s how we first met.” He added, “She is a very genuine person. She is just one of the boys, and I like that about her.” When Farooq reacted to it and asked if she’s a tomboy, he replied, “Yes, tomboy, another boy friend.”
Speaking about their equation, John shared, “Many a times when Raveena arrives at the airport, I go to pick her up on the bike with another helmet. She wears it and rides with me on the bike.” When asked how she looks with a helmet, he said, “Pyaari.”

Calling him a ‘junior artiste’ and herself a ‘senior’ at that time, Raveena continued, “Besides that, what I really liked about John is that he’s one of the most genuine friends.”
The viral clip sparked nostalgia among fans. “They both look so damn good in this clip! Abb toh sab ek jaise lagte hai,” a fan wrote under the Reddit post. Another person asked, “I love this – feels so genuine. Are they still this close?” “Loveee this kinda friendship!!” a comment read.
