The teaser for Ishq Vishk Rebound was unveiled by the makers on Thursday, marking the acting debut of Hrithik Roshan’s niece, Pashmina Roshan. Pashmina stars opposite The Sky Is Pink actor Rohit Suresh Saraf. The film is a sequel to the 2003 hit Ishq Vishk, which launched the Bollywood careers of Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao.

The teaser begins with Saraf introducing the world of Ishq Vishk Rebound, emphasising that it isn’t a typical love story. Viewers are introduced to the lead cast as a remix of the original score “Chot Dil Pe Lagi” from Ishq Vishk plays in the background. The teaser highlights the tumultuous relationships among four friends who become lovers and face heartbreak. Visuals include the characters embarking on a mountain trip, and the teaser ends with a scuffle between Rohit’s character and Jibraan Khan, who also plays a key role. The film’s tagline poses the question: “Will you hold on or move on?” Naila Grewal, known for her role in the Netflix series Maamla Legal Hai, also plays a significant role.

Earlier, Hrithik Roshan took to social media to wish his niece Pashmina Roshan the best for her debut film. Sharing the poster featuring Pashmina on Instagram, he wrote, “So proud of you Pashmina Roshan! You made it to this moment all on your own! Can’t wait to watch you shine! Your spirit is going to take you far! Ishq Vishk Rebound is going to ROCK !! All the best to the entire team !!Mark the date! 21st June 2024.”

Directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, Ishq Vishk Rebound is produced by Ramesh Taurani and Jaya Taurani. It will release in theatres on June 21.
