Taapsee Pannu, who grew up in a modest household in Delhi, recently gave a tour of her luxurious apartment in Mumbai that she shares with her sister Shagun. Taapsee described her house “like a world tour” where one floor is “Pannu pind” and the other floor is quite European. She also shared that for her home means family as she has always lived with people around her and even when she started travelling for work, her sister Shagun was always by her side.
Taapsee shared that in her childhood, she grew up in a 2-BHK-ish house that had one bathroom, one toilet and one kitchen for eight members of the family. “I didn’t even know the concept that there is something called personal space. You don’t realise you are missing your own space because you don’t know it exists,” she said.
Taapsee then proceeded to give a tour of her house which has elements from Punjab, her home state, and her many travels around the globe.
Taapsee shared that she is extremely close to her sister and she learnt about sibling bonding from her father and her uncle, who were always very close.
Taapsee was seen in Khel Khel Mein and Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba in 2024.
