Cricketer Virat Kohli has blocked singer Rahul Vaidya on Instagram. Rahul made this revelation on Monday while speaking to paps in Mumbai. The news took netizens by surprise as it is said that the two celebrities once shared a cordial relationship.
During a recent interaction with paps, Rahul was randomly asked about being blocked by Virat. He said, “Aaj tak samajh mein nahi aaya, bhai ne block kyun kiya (I don’t understand till date what made him block me).”
While Rahul Vaidya shared his confusion regarding Virat Kohli’s decision to block him, he shared that he has no ill feelings towards the Indian batsman. Calling him one of India’s best batsman, the singer said, “I don’t know the reason. I have never had any issues with him. I don’t know if something ever happened.”
Rahul Vaidya is known for his stint as a runner-up on the popular singing competition Indian Idol and his appearance on Bigg Boss 14. He married television star Disha Parmar in 2021 in an intimate wedding. The couple now have a daughter.
Currently, Virat Kohli is in Australia with the Indian cricket team, which is playing a five-match Test series against Australia. The series is tied at 1-1, and the fourth test is scheduled to be played at Melbourne on December 26.
