farah khan dilipBharti Singh and Geeta Kapur opened up on Farah Khan's process of shooting her YouTube videos .

Choreographer and dancer Geeta Kapur began her career in the film industry by training under Farah Khan, one of the most acclaimed choreographers and filmmakers in Bollywood. In a recent interaction, Geeta admitted that she received “a lot of scolding” from Farah during her training days. She also shared insights into how Farah creates her viral YouTube videos and how her sharp directorial instincts come into play even in those casual shoots.

Geeta spoke about her training days with Farah and facing the wrath of her temper to Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiya on their YouTube channel. She said, “I think she is a sweeter person off set. On set, she has a temper and I think it is default reaction when you work with men all the time. Then your dominant feature comes out and you feel like if you say things loudly and harshly then people might listen,” she said.

Speaking about her viral YouTube videos, Bharti and Harsh shared that though many want to make a name on YouTube, not everybody can work as hard as Farah on her videos. Geeta shared that when Farah shoots her YouTube content, she arrives with a staff of four people. She said, “Farah comes with four people who would be listening to her scolding them.” Harsh added, “She keeps instructing her cameraman to take close ups and other things. Director itane hai na woh (She thinks from her director brain).”

Geeta also spoke about how Farah has turned her cook, Dilip — who features in her videos — into ‘a star.’ She said, “Dilip is now a superstar. She has made his life.” Bharti recalled Farah shooting one YouTube episode at her house. She said, “Farah mam told me I will finish off the video in half-an-hour and she was so quick. She would scold his team, ‘Chamach marugi, ye shot ye (I will throw the spoon at you, take this shot).’ She made us taste 5 dishes in that time.” Harsh added, “She works very smartly.”

Dilip is a constant presence in Farah’s food vlogs. He recently shot a brand promotion with Shah Rukh Khan and has found a fanbase on social media.
