In her latest Youtube vlog, filmmaker Farah Khan and her cook Dilip visited Chef Harpal Singh’s house in Mumbai. He is known for his catchphrase ‘namak shamak’ and has been seen in cooking shows like ‘Turban Tadka’ and ‘Laughter Chef’. In the beginning of the video, Dilip was seen in a Punjabi folk dance costume, showing his best moves to the choreographer-director. In fact, his lower garment, called a ‘lungi’, undraped while he was doing bhangra continuously.

The vlog started with Farah’s house help calling her for help as Dilip isn’t ending his Bhangra streak since morning. As soon as the filmmaker entered the kitchen, she shouted at him to change his ‘fancy dress’ bhangra clothes, stop with his continuous dancing and wash the utensils quickly. While they were leaving for Chef Harpal’s house in Mumbai, Dilip still couldn’t come out of his Punjabi element.

As he kept doing Bhangra steps while talking to Farah, he said, “Ma’am, balle balle karaha hu.” “What is this?” she asked, while pointing out to the container in his hand. “Yeh balle balle,” he answered.

Later, Dilip told an annoyed Farah, “This is chicken”. They got Lokhandwala’s famous rose chicken packed for the chef before visiting his house.

As soon as they were about to leave the building, Dilip’s lungi fell accidently. Farah Khan instantly gave an irritated reaction to him and left to sit in the car. “Ma’am gir gaya, dekho nikal gaya (It has opened, see),” he asked her to come. Without responding to him, she jokingly pushed him towards the car, hinting to end the drama and leave for Harpal’s house.

In fact, Chef Harpal was shocked to see Dilip in a Punjabi dance troupe outfit. “He has been doing bhangra since morning. Lungi khol ke aaya hai yeh (he opened the garment and came),” Farah told him. “Your lungi opened?” Harpal asked. “Khul jaata hai, sahab (it gets open),” Dilip responded. “Thank God, you are wearing pants underneath luckily,” she added. Later on, during the vlog, he changed his Bhangra outfit into the usual shirt and trouser attire.
