Celebrities across various film industries observed Eid Al-Adha, also known as Bakrid, on Monday and extended heartfelt greetings to their fans worldwide on the occasion. From Bollywood icon Salman Khan and global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas to Malayalam megastar Mammootty, all took to their respective social media accounts to wish their fans.

Sharing a photo of himself with a peaceful smile against a dusk sky backdrop, Salman Khan wrote, “Wishing ev1 Eid Mubarak!” Hundreds of his fans quickly responded in the comments, wishing “Bhai” back. Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared an Instagram story with a special Bakrid message: “Eid-ul-Adha Mubarak. On Eid-ul-Adha wishing that your sacrifices are appreciated, and your prayers are answered by the almighty. Have a blessed Eid-ul-Adha.”

Malayalam megastar Mammootty kept his wish short, as usual, noting, “Eid greetings to everyone.” Malayalam actor and BJP Thrissur MP Suresh Gopi also extended Eid greetings with a special illustration bearing the words, “May this special day bring peace and happiness to your heart.”

Anil Kapoor posted an illustration on social media representing people of all ethnicities celebrating Eid, writing, “Couldn’t have found a more beautiful manifestation of the spirit of Eid, #EidMubarak.”

Gadar actor and former BJP Lok Sabha MP Sunny Deol extended his Eid wishes on Instagram, writing, “Wishing everyone peace, harmony and good health on this auspicious day.”

Actors Abhishek Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Arjun Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Shilpa Shetty, Malaika Arora, Tamannaah Bhatia, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, and Soha Ali Khan also shared their Eid greetings with fans around the world.

Eid Al-Adha is the second-most significant festival in the Islamic calendar, following Eid Al-Fitr. The date of Eid al-Adha varies, as it falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah in the Islamic calendar.
