Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has returned to India after six years to perform in Mumbai and many from the film industry welcomed him with open arms and hosted a few parties for him. Madhuri Dixit, Rakulpreet Singh, Malaika Arora, Farah Khan, Hrithik Roshan and many others partied with the ‘Shape of You’ Singer. Huma Qureshi shared that she was surprised when the singer told her that he loved her film Gangs of Wasseypur.
Huma posted pictures with Ed Sheeran and wrote in the caption, “Last night when @teddysphotos told me he loved #gangsofwasseypur bas aur kya night was made !!! happy faces .. thank u @farahkhankunder for the being the best host and taking the worst photos no one like you.”
Filmmaker Farah Khan, who also hosted a party for him in 2017, once again hosted a party for Ed Sheeran. She also posted pictures of the singer with her children from 2017 and now and wrote in the caption, “Last time i had a party for Ed Shereen the kids were nt allowed up on their own terrace, as they were too small for a grown up party.. so @teddysphotos very sweetly went to their bedroom to click pics with them this party i threw.. guess who were the 1st ones there! Time FLIESSSSSS”
Farah previously hosted a small dinner party for Ed which was attended by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. Here, SRK taught Ed his signature pose. The video, was directed by Farah and uploaded the Ed on his social media. The caption read, “This is the Shape of Us. Spreading love together….”
Ed will be performing in Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on March 16. His concert is part of the ‘+ – = / x’ tour, in which he is covering Asia and Europe in 2024. This is the singer’s third visit to the country.
