Actor Vidyut Jammwal will next be seen in Crakk, doing what he does best – high-octane action. The trailer of Crakk, unveiled on Friday, gives a peek at the film’s USP, which is Vidyut and Arjun Rampal’s daredevil stunts.
The film, also starring Nora Fatehi, seems to be set in a walled area called ‘maidaan’. Arjun seems to be the mastermind of a dead-or-alive desi version of Squid Games in ‘maidaan’. Vidyut is at ‘maidaan’ to avenge the death of his elder sibling.

Crakk also seems to have some comedy as Vidyut mentions Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster films Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi towards the end of the promo.
Speaking about Crakk, Vidyut Jammwal, who is also the producer of the film, said in a statement, “With Crakk, my vision was to deliver the biggest sports action thriller in Indian Cinema. I am grateful to an exceptional team that transformed this dream into reality. The adrenaline-fueled visual spectacle we’ve created aims to captivate audiences, leaving them eagerly anticipating more.”
Director Aditya Datt, who has earlier worked with Vidyut in Commando 3, said, “Crakk marks my second feature with Vidyut, and this time, I have Arjun joining in. When you have Arjun Rampal and Vidyut Jammval, the very embodiment of masculinity, both in real life and movies, it’s an amazing action combo as a filmmaker. Their explosive and rage-filled persona should intrigue the audience too. This time it’s also special as my leading man is not just an actor on set but also the producer. Cannot be more happy that Vidyut’s and my vision matches. I hope and pray we Crackk it as happy partners in cinema and crime.”
Crakk is all set to release in theatres on February 23.
