Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 box office collection day 1 early report: Kartik Aaryan’s much-awaited horror-comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 finally hit theatres on Friday in an interesting clash with Ajay Devgn’s multi-starrer film Singham Again. The movie, directed by Anees Bazmee, has opened to positive reviews with most of them praising the film’s climax and Kartik Aaryan’s performance. Prior to the movie’s release, there was a huge debate on the division of screens for both the films. However, at end, it was decided that both the films will be given 50-50 percent ration of screens, especially single screen theatres. On the other hand, multiplexes like PVR and INOX have opted for a 60-40 ratio for Singham Again, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Despite having a relatively less screens and reportedly less budget than Singham Again, the film sold over two lakh tickets in its advance bookings. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has earned Rs 9.14 crore as of 3 pm today.

Meanwhile, Singham Again has earned Rs 16.27 crore, according to early estimates by Sacnilk. The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. The film is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 375 crore.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, also starring Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, Rajpal Yadav, and Sanjay Mishra in the lead roles, is said to be made on a budget of Rs 150 crore.

An insider told SCREEN, “In the current scenario, Singham Again is looking to open around Rs 35 cr mark while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be now around Rs 23-25cr on the opening day. These are good enough numbers, but the potential was there to do higher. Because had they come solo, they would have opened bigger and better even on a non-holiday.”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is the third installment in the popular Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. The first part Bhool Bhulaiyaa, released in 2007, starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the lead roles. The second part Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022) starred Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu in the lead roles.
