In her latest action-packed political drama, Yami Gautam is a woman on a mission. The teaser of her upcoming film, Article 370 was unveiled late Saturday night, days after the makers dropped her gritty first look from the film.

Set against the backdrop of Article 370, the teaser offers a glimpse into the “confidential chain of events and the incredible circumstances that led to an unprecedented and historic outcome of rendering Article 370 ineffective,” the makers said in a note.

The one-minute-forty-second teaser begins with scenic shots of Kashmir, before it turns its lens towards its fractured peace and riots. “In Kashmir, terrorism is a business,” Yami says. “It has nothing to do with freedom, but everything to do with money.” The teaser then argues that the leaders of Kashmir have been exploiting the situation of the state for corrupt reasons. The video ends with the government announcing the abrogation of Article 370.

The film is directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and is headlined by Yami Gautam and Priyamani. Article 370 is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar–Uri: The Surgical Strike filmmaker– and Lokesh Dhar.
