TV personality Archana Puran Singh has garnered hundreds of thousands of subscribers on her YouTube channel, where she regularly posts vlogs that feature her family. Accompanied by her husband, Parmeet Sethi, and their two sons, Aryaman and Aayushman, the couple went on a dosa hunt in their latest vlog. Each of them promised to take the rest to their favourite dosa spots around Mumbai, after which they rated their experience and picked a winner.

While Parmeet wanted to take the family to his favourite childhood spot at Juhu beach, Archana wanted to go to Shiv Sagar, and their sons were sure that the dosas at Mithibai College and Amar Juice Corner are the best in town. The family’s first stop was a stall outside Mithibai, where they ordered a masala dosa and a chili paneer dosa. Archana asked the cook where he was from, and he told her that he’s from Nepal. “Masala dosa mein koi mirchi mat daalna Deepak, warna tumko Nepal ka ticket leke bhej denge wapas (Don’t put any spice in the masala dosa, or we’ll have you sent back to Nepal),” she said.

The family next went to Shiv Sagar, where they were all unimpressed by the food. After that, they went to Amar Juice Corner, where the strawberry milkshake found more fans than the dosas. It was there that Parmeet banged his head on the edge of the car door, which made his sons laugh. Finally, they went to Juhu beach to try out Parmeet’s favourite childhood spot. He had some trouble locating the stall, but was excited when he found it. He complained about other people making sweet sambar around town, and the owner of the stall assured him that their sambar isn’t sweet at all.

The entire family loved the dosas, as a crowd gathered around them to take pictures with Archana. She asked the cook if she could get her dosa for free in exchange of a selfie, and he rejected her offer. “Is a selfie with me worth less than Rs 100?” she said, as the cook said that he’d happily take a selfie with her, but wants the money as well. “Don’t worry, we won’t run away with your money,” she said. Archana, Parmeet, and their sons all agreed that the final spot was the best.
