Anushka Sharma reveals Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal invited her and Virat Kohli for dinner: ‘But we eat dinner at 6 pm…’

In an interview, Anushka Sharma shared that she and Virat Kohli were invited for dinner by Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. She also laid down the conditions she had for accepting the same.

It was earlier widely reported about Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal moving into a new house after their wedding. They are now neighbours to another star couple, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Katrina and Anushka are close friends and have also worked in Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Zero together. Given their close bond, Katrina extended a dinner invitation for her and Virat, as revealed by Anushka.

In an interview with Grazia India, Anushka Sharma spoke about receiving a dinner invitation from Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. She also revealed how they follow an early dinner and early-to-bed lifestyle, which usually doesn’t match with their friends. “Katrina and Vicky have invited us to their home, but we eat dinner at 6 and we sleep at 9:30. So I said [to Katrina Kaif], for you, we’ll eat at 7-7:30 but we have to leave soon. So she’s like okay, you’ll have dinner and Vicky and I will have snacks,” she shared. She also spoke about being a ‘recluse and introvert’ and how she likes to stay away from parties and events.

In 2021, days after Katrina-Vicky’s wedding, Anushka had welcomed the couple with a rather witty post. She shared on social media, “Congratulations to both you beautiful people! Wishing you guys a lifetime of togetherness, love and understanding. Also glad you are finally married so that now you can move into your house soon and we can stop hearing construction sounds.”

On the work front, Anushka Sharma is awaiting the release of her sports film Chakda Xpress which will launch on Netflix. The biopic will have her play star player Jhulan Goswami. On the other hand, Katrina will be seen with Salman Khan in Tiger 3 and will also star alongside Vijay Sethupathi in Merry Christmas. Vicky Kaushal has Sam Bahadur, and Laxman Utekar’s next with Sara Ali Khan in the pipeline.
