Days after pictures and videos of actor Anushka Sharma at New York’s Nassau County Cricket Stadium won the hearts of fans, a new video has surfaced online. The video shows Anushka, who attended the match to cheer for her husband, Virat Kohli, seemingly losing her cool while interacting with another person. There is no clarity on what caused her to seemingly become upset. India defeated Pakistan in the T20 Cricket World Cup match earlier this week.

As soon as the video surfaced online, people were both concerned and confused. Some tried to find out the reason behind Anushka’s annoyance. “Bhabhiji aggressive ho rahi hai,” wrote an Instagram user, while another one commented, “Bhabhiji gusse mein lag rahi hai.” However, a fan came in support of Anushka, and wrote, “Humans can be happy and aggressive both… we all do so what’s the big deal here!”

Anushka also posed with Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh, and Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife, Dhanashree, for a group picture after India beat Pakistan in the T20 World Cup match on June 9. In a photo shared by Dhanashree on Instagram, Anushka sported a big smile as she posed with her in the stands.

Anushka was visibly disappointed when Virat was dismissed after scoring just four runs. She celebrated with the rest of the country when India won.

Anushka and Virat, who tied the knot in  2017, welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika in 2021 and their second child, son Akaay in February 2024. On the work front, Anushka has been awaiting the release of her film, Chakda ‘Xpress, a biographical sport drama film written by Abhishek Banerjee, directed by Prosit Roy and produced by Karnesh Sharma under the banner of Clean Slate Film.
