Ameesha Patel says Farah Khan scolded, abused her and Hrithik Roshan on Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai sets: ‘Jo maa behen ki gaaliyan milti thi’

In Farah Khan's latest YouTube vlog, actor Ameesha Patel revealed that the choreographer-filmmaker used to scold and abuse her and co-star Hrithik Roshan during Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai shoot.

Ameesha Patel and Hrithik Roshan were launched together in the iconic film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai in 2000. The film became one of the biggest box office hits of all time, making both of them overnight stars. Most of the songs of the film were choreographed by choreographer-director Farah Khan, including the iconic title song.

Now, Ameesha and Farah reunited in a recent video, where the actor recalled a fun anecdote about the shoot. In her latest vlog on YouTube, Farah Khan visited Ameesha Patel’s Mumbai house with her cook Dilip. During the vlog, Ameesha revealed how Farah used to scold and abuse her and Hrithik during the shoot.

As Dilip joked about Farah scolding him all the time, Ameesha reaffirmed the same and revealed how she scolded her and Hrithik brutally on the sets of their film. “Hum logon ko Kaho Na Pyaar Hai ke time par, Hrithik aur mujhe jo maa behen ki gaaliyan milti thi (She used to abuse me and Hrithik on the sets of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai). Aur hum log ko daant daant ke jo sikhaate the, I kid you not (They used to scold to make us learn),” she said. However, Farah denied her claim and teased that she only scolded her, and not Hrithik – “It is not true, maine Hrithik ko kabhi gaali nahi di, sirf Ameesha ko padti thi (I never abused Hrithik, only Ameesha).”

Later on, which grinding the paste in the mixer for the Thai curry, Farah taught Ameesha how to use a grinder. Towards the end of the vlog, before Farah could hand over her gifts to Ameesha, the actor surprised her with a sweet gesture of giving her one herself. After receiving a Prada box, the filmmaker said, “How beautiful, it’s the latest Prada perfume, guys. That’s too sweet of you. Baaki celeb guests bhi dekh lo. Mujhe bhi tum logon ko gift dene hote hain aise. Classy bano aise (Other celebs should also learn from her, you have to give me gifts like this). How lovely, I love it. Thank you so much.”

During the same vlog, Ameesha Patel also revealed that she owns about 300–400 luxury bags, besides the clutches and belt bags in her collection. Farah pointed towards her cupboard and revealed, “This cupboard is filled with Ameesha’s Birkin bags.” Birkin bags is of the most exclusive brands in the world, and can cost anywhere between Rs 2-3 crore.
