Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shares photos from daughter Aaradhya Bachchan’s birthday party: ‘You are officially a teenager’

Aaradhya Bachchan turned 13 on November 16. A week later, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to Instagram to share photos from birthday celebrations.

A week after Aaradhya Bachchan turned 13, her mother, actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, took to Instagram to share photos from her birthday celebrations. Aaradhya Bachchan celebrated her birthday on November 16. Aishwarya, however, shared the post on her father Krishna Rai’s birth anniversary on November 21. The photos show Aishwarya and her mother Brinda, along with Aaradhya, paying tribute to Krishna Rai with flowers. Other photos gave a glimpse of Aaradhya’s birthday as well as childhood moments.

Aishwarya wrote in the caption, “You are officially a teenager Aaradhya.” Aishwarya also shared a couple of throwback pictures from Aaradhya’s childhood. Among the many pictures posted by her, one at the end gave a glimpse of a dolled-up Aaradhya, along with her mom, from what seems like her birthday party.

Sharing the post, Aishwarya wrote, “Happy Birthday to the eternal love of my life… dearest daddy-ajja and my darling Aaradhya. My heart, my soul, forever and beyond.” Actors Bipasha Basu, Celina Jaitly, Saiyami Kher, and Darshan Kumar, among others, dropped hearts in the comments section.

Aaradhya’s father Abhishek Bachchan, appeared to be missing from the celebration. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot in 2007 after dating for a couple of years. The couple welcomed Aaradhya in 2011. Recently, Abhishek Bachchan, who is promoting his film I Want To Talk, recalled a memory involving his daughter.

The actor recounted how, as a child, Aaradhya had a book in which one character described “help” as the most courageous word in the world. The actor shared that this idea resonated deeply with him. Hindustan Times quoted him saying, “That means you are not ready to give up. I will do whatever it takes to carry on.”
