‘Udta Punjab’ has taken off and how. Recently, Shahid Kapoor took to Instagram to ask his fans and followers for love and wishes as the shoot of the Abhishek Chaubey movie began in Punjab. And Kareena Kapoor also has started shooting for the movie alongwith Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh.

Diljit took to Twitter to post pictures from the sets – one of himself and the other of himself and Kareena hiding behind the clapshot.

The Punjabi actor, quite visibly looks very happy and excited to be making his Bollywood debut with this movie.
One of Kareena’s fanpages on Twitter also posted a picture of hers, where she dons a Punjabi look in a pink salwar suit. Kareena and Diljit are shooting at a hospital in Amritsar.
‘Udta Punjab’, which revolves around the issue of drug abuse in Punjab, also stars Alia Bhatt, who is undergoing special training in Hockey to prep for her role.
