After delivering a hit with Dream Girl 2, Ayushmann Khurrana says ‘next Jawan aayegi’

Ayushmann Khurrana, upon the request of a fan, also shared behind-the-scene footage of himself in the get-up of Pooja. It seemed to be footage from the look test of his character Pooja.

Sharing the video, Ayushmann wrote, “Unseen video lijiye aap! #bts #looktest #pooja #DreamGirl2”. In the video, Ayushmann as Pooja is dressed in a blue lehenga and jewellery as he enacts the song “Mere Dil Ka Telephone”.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2 has become the biggest opening of his career, with a Rs 10.69 crore collection on release day. The film, on its first Monday, collected Rs 4.7 crore, bringing the total collection to Rs 45.41 crore. The movie, also starring Ananya Panday as the female lead, tells the story of a father-son duo stuck in debt and how Ayushmann revives his famous character of Pooja to earn money.

As for Jawan, the film brings Shah Rukh Khan and Tamil director Atlee together for the first time. The movie’s trailer is expected to release on August 31, also kicking off the film’s advance booking in India. The film has a star-studded line-up of actors, which includes Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra.
